What a way to close out the year! Our final 2025 workshop took place in the children’s section of the West Portal Branch of the San Francisco Public Library, where kids ages 10–18 were invited to dream big and design their own one‑of‑a‑kind miniature living room scene. Each tiny space came complete with a comfy chair and ottoman, a glowing fireplace, and a snowy window view — perfect for cozy winter storytelling.

The room buzzed with creativity as participants brought their mini spaces to life with vivid color, inspired design choices, and delightful accents. Many leaned into the holiday spirit, adding festive touches like twinkly lights, hot cocoa, sweet treats, miniature Christmas trees and presents, and graphic images to celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa.

From the first selected element to the last detail glued in place, the energy was contagious. The best part? Watching these young makers light up as their miniature worlds came together, it became crystal clear that big imagination thrives in small spaces. Ah, joy!
