This workshop at the Bedford Gallery at Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek, California, premiered
the Mid-century Modern Pop-up Den Kit. Participants spent 3+ hours creating stunning 1:12 scale spaces. This immersive workshop celebrated the era’s signature aesthetics, blending thoughtfully designed furniture and finishes with period-inspired details. Each curated kit included miniature designer furniture replicas and an array of vintage wallpaper patterns and flooring, all selected to evoke the essence of this beloved style.
Small Matters Miniatures provided the complete kits that included a 3-section wall unit with an expansive 4-panel window, a floor base, a roof panel for the vaulted ceiling, solid birch wood beams, a traditional sofa kit, a sunburst clock kit, 3D-printed furniture included a Malm fireplace with log bundle, tripod lamp, and a two-tier coffee table, paints, and adhesives.
