small matters

This workshop at the African American Museum & Library of Oakland, California, featured the original
Pop-up Gallery Kit focused on Black History and Black Excellence. Twelve participants spent
2.5 hours creating compelling miniature galleries, utilizing images from AAMLO's archive collection,
paired with images of celebrated modern black creators.

AAMLO and Small Matters Miniatures provided all of the kit supplies including the 3-section gallery wall unit with a paneled wall graphic, a faux wood floor base, an assortment of images and crafting papers, 2-piece wooden bench kits, acrylic paints, paint brushes and palettes, scissors, glues, and adhesives.
