'Gimme Some Sugar' bakery was created as a birthday gift for my friend, Joanne to honor and celebrate her love of desserts.
Jo bakes THE MOST AMAZING cakes, cupcakes, cake pops, and cookies, and she shares my passion for all things sweet. Sometimes, when we went out for lunch or dinner, we would order three desserts (and we once ordered four!) between the two of us because we couldn't make up our minds about which one we wanted, so it made sense to create our own sampler.

I had so much fun creating this project as I was obsessed about every item and where it would be placed! All in, it took almost 6 months to complete as I searched high and low to find the many confectionary items that fill the cases and the counter surfaces. I think I spent nearly the equivalent of 24 hours making the magazines, wall menus, boxes of tea, signs, and cards alone.
